Chris and Ayla first started hosting game shows for their family on Zoom. Because both of their families live outside of Ottawa, it was a unique way of bringing people together and having fun.

During one of their family game shows, Chris threw in a fun surprise and proposed to Ayla on the show! A year later they tied the knot and have been happily married ever since.

This concept caught the attention of The Royal Oak franchise, and it wasn’t long before the Hunt Club location asked Chris if he would consider hosting as a way to bring in new patrons and increase engagement. News of the game show's success spread across the restaurant community like wildfire, and later unfurled into other sectors; thus Host Entertainment was born. ​
